چکیده
This study aimed to determine the growth performance, nutrient digestibility and carcass characteristics of grower rabbits fed diets containing graded Bambusa vulgaris leaf meal (BVLM) levels. Thirty weighing an average 999 g were allocated in a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) five treatments (BVLM 0%, which was control diet, BVLM 5%, 10%, 15% 20%) with six replicates. The adapted assigned for one week ten weeks. Feed intake, live weight changes feed conversion ratio performance parameters measured. Existing market prices items used appraise economically. A undertaken during 10th week. No mortality recorded study. Before termination feeding trial, 15 (3 from each treatment) selected randomly, taken off 24 hours humanely slaughtered. Carcass weights internal organs measured recorded. Results revealed that changes, intake similar all treatments. However, cost feed/kg gain decreased linearly increase inclusion level BVLM. results also showed could be utilized up rabbit without lowering dressing percentage. It concluded 20% diet reduce any adverse effects on organs. Int. J. Agril. Res. Innov. Tech. 13(1): 6-14, June 2023

The objectives of the study were to evaluate the effects of Sabara leaf meal on growth performance, nutrient digestibility and haematological parameters of red Sokoto goats. Bucks were managed in a complete randomized design with 4 treatments and 3 replicates. The Sabara leaf meal (SLM) was fed at concentration of 0, 10, 20 and 30% in treatment 1, 2, 3 and 4 respectively. The experimental diets...

This study was designed to determine the effects of hydrolyzed feather meal inclusion on growth performance, carcass characteristics, nutrient digestibility and fecal odorous compounds in modern lean growth genotype pigs. Two hundred forty pigs (BW = 23.2 +/- 1.3 kg) were allotted based on BW and sex to a 2 x 6 factorial arrangement of treatments (four pens per treatment; five pigs per pen) in ...

A study was carried out to evaluate nutrient intake and digestibility by West African Dwarf (WAD) sheep fed graded levels of dietary pigeon pea seed meal (PSM). Four diets designated A, B, C and D were formulated to contain 0, 10, 20, and 30% levels of PSM, respectively. Four WAD rams aged between 15 and 17 months and weighing between 16 and 19 kg were used to conduct digestibility study in a 4...

The objective of this study was to investigate the effects of feeding electron irradiated flaxseed (FS) on performance, carcass characteristics, blood parameters, digesta viscosity, and nutrient digestibility in broiler chickens. In a 2 × 2 factorial arrangement, 320 day-old broiler chicks were randomly assigned to one of five experimental diets, each with four replicates containing 16 chicks e...
متن کاملEffects of water restriction on growth performance, feed nutrient digestibility, carcass and meat traits of rabbits.
The study investigates the effects of a post-weaning water restriction on performance, nutrient digestibility, carcass traits and meat quality of 84-day-old rabbits. A total of 1388 weaned rabbits (35 days) were randomly divided into two groups on the basis of BW and sex. The two groups were fed the same diets ad libitum both in the post-weaning (35 to 60 days) and fattening (61 to 84 days) per...
